Priyadarshini College of Engineering, Nagpur the Premier College of the LTJSS Spread over a sprawling 72 acres,the campus is enriched with state of the art sports and recreational facilities. Priyadarshini College of Engineering has been awarded with A+ grade status with CGPA 3.31 by NAAC for a term of 5 years up to 27.03. 2024. Theinstitute has received accreditation for four of its programs, namely Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronica & Telecommunication and Electrical Engineering up to 30/06/2021 by National Board of Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The Institute runs 7 undergraduate programs, 4 post Graduate Programs and 3 Ph.D. Programs. Institute has a strong faculty pool with 50 Ph.D. awarded and 32 ongoing. The Institute has also been conferred with Grade A by the Government of Maharashtra for Academic Excellence and is the recipient of Platinum Rank Category in AICTE-CII survey in 2019.The Institute has also received World Education Award, India’s Education Excellence Award 2018, Berkshire Media USA; and Outstanding Engineering Institute for Research and Innovation held at 15th World Education Summit-2019 and National Educational Excellence Award-2020.
Mechanical Engineering Department was established in 1990. The department runs UG, PG and Ph.Dprogrammes. The intake of PG program is 25 in Mechanical Engineering Design from 2002-03. The department has highly qualified staff with research and industrial experience. Department undertakes R&D activities and consultancy assignments extensively. The students of the department also excel in the University and secure merit ranks every year. Department has received 4 RPS Grants and completed many consultancy projects. Faculties received No of National awards like Best Teacher Award from RTM Nagpur University and U.P. Govt. award from ISTE, New Delhi.
Aeronautical Engineering Department was established in 2009and has over the years adapted and improved with the fast pace of technology. A sincere and hardworking student body and wholehearted support of the dedicated faculty have contributed in no small measure to the professional successes enjoyed by a good number of individuals this department. The department has been continually changing and evolving to meet the needs of modern industry and to train its students to pursue their goals with concentrated determination. With rapid changes in the professional world, the department has also focused on the drawing of the information age and has established new courses and laboratory facilities with the aim of supplying their students with every tool they need to succeed in the fast changing landscape of the modern professional arena. Thus, the department ensures the students the versatility to adapt to the dynamic and fast moving world and its many industries.
Aeronautical Department has already have jet engine, aero-plane, wind tunnel and various labs. Department has signed MOU with Aeronautical society of India and Air force.
M Tech Course Details
India's booming Defence Manufacturing Industry requires qualified Engineers in defence technology and we are happy to introduce M Tech in Defence Technology which is designed to produce Post Graduates who have the necessary theoretical knowledge, and practical skills to partake in the high growth, high Paying Defence Industry.
The course provides exposure & knowledge for various state of the art defence systems and contemporary technologies through class lectures & main thesis work. During the program, students will gain exposure by conducting thesis work in DRDO labs, Defence PSUs & Private Defence Industries. DRDO, AICTE and Industries and our College have collaborated to provide required knowledge to the students and create job opportunities for them.
Our college has the experience and infrastructure such as jet engine, aero-plane, wind tunnel and labs. College signed MOU with Aeronautical society of India and Air force for greater collaboration for the benefit of students.
