Role and Core Responsibilities

  • Material Selection: Choosing appropriate materials for UAV components, such as airframes, payloads, and propulsion systems.
  • Manufacturing Processes: Overseeing the fabrication processes, including cutting, forming, welding, and assembly.
  • Quality Control: Implementing quality control measures to ensure product conformity to design specifications.
  • Production Planning: Scheduling and coordinating the fabrication process to meet production targets.
  • Cost Control: Managing production costs to optimize resource utilization.
  • Supply Chain Management: Ensuring the availability of materials and components.
  • Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities to enhance fabrication efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Team Management: Leading fabrication teams and providing technical guidance.
  • Ground-Based UAVs: Overseeing the fabrication of UAVs for ground-based operations, such as reconnaissance and surveillance.
  • Man-Portable UAVs: Focusing on the production of small, easily transportable UAVs.
  • Tactical UAVs: Overseeing the fabrication of UAVs for combat and support missions.
  • High-Altitude Long-Endurance (HALE) UAVs: Involved in the production of large, long-endurance UAVs.
