Roles and Responsibilities

  • Threat Analysis: Identifying potential threats and vulnerabilities of target systems.
  • ECM System Design: Developing ECM systems and subsystems to counter specific threats.
  • Hardware and Software Development: Designing and developing ECM hardware and software components.
  • System Integration: Integrating ECM systems into platforms (aircraft, ships, ground vehicles).
  • Testing and Evaluation: Conducting tests to evaluate ECM system performance.
  • Counter-Countermeasures (CCM): Analyzing enemy ECM capabilities and developing countermeasures.
  • Simulation and Modeling: Using simulation tools to model ECM system performance and threat scenarios.
  • Radar Countermeasures: Developing systems to jam or deceive radar systems.
  • Infrared Countermeasures: Designing systems to reduce the infrared signature of targets.
  • Laser Countermeasures: Developing systems to protect against laser-guided weapons.
  • Electronic Support Measures (ESM): Designing systems to detect and identify enemy radar and communications.

Subjects
