Analog RF Design Engineer

Roles and Core Responsibilities

  • Learning and assisting in Designing Analog and RF circuits for various new applications such as amplifiers, oscillators, mixers, filters, and power management circuits.  
  • Independently performing circuit simulations and analysis to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Selecting appropriate components and materials based on design requirements.  
  • Integrating designed circuits into larger systems, considering factors like power consumption, noise, and electromagnetic interference (EMI)
  • Ensuring system-level performance of various new systems meets specifications.
  • Building and testing prototypes to verify design performance.
  • Analysing test results and making necessary modifications.
  • Designing RF components like antennas, matching networks, and low-noise amplifiers.
  • Understanding RF propagation characteristics and system performance.
  • Utilizing simulation tools to analyze circuit behaviour and optimize designs
  • Creating accurate models of components and systems
  • Preparing detailed design documentation, including schematics, layouts, and test reports
  • Working closely with other engineers, such as digital, firmware, and mechanical engineers to ensure project success
