Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assisting teams working on integrating various avionics components like radar, communication systems, navigation equipment, and flight control systems
  • Handling specific tasks to ensure seamless communication and data transfer between different systems
  • Contributing to the design and development of new avionics hardware components
  • Learn and start conducting tests and simulations to ensure performance and reliability
  • Undertake specific tasks to develop software for avionics systems, including embedded systems, real-time operating systems, and application software
  • Testing and debugging software to ensure optimal performance
  • Participating in system-level testing and integration to verify overall system functionality
  • Learn and start identifying and resolving issues that arise during testing

  • Avionics System Certification and Compliance:

Aerospace Avionics Engineers ensure that avionics systems comply with relevant standards and regulations, such as those established by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the Military Aviation Authorities (MAA). They adhere to safety protocols, implement quality control measures, and maintain traceability of design and testing records.
