The Mobile Launcher System (MLS) for MRSAM Weapon System is trailer / HMV mounted platform for Launching MRSAM missiles. It houses the Launch Control System (LCS), up to eight Canisters Missiles (CMs), Intra Fire Unit communication system for communication with the Combat Management System (CMS), and other necessary equipment.
The Trailer carries the entire Launch system including its power generation system. The Missile Launch System is placed into and out of action by a Crew / Operator team preparing it for operations including Missile Launch. Launching is done only by the Combat Management System, which communicates with the MLS.
