Role and Core Responsibilities

  • Warhead Design: Developing warhead concepts, configurations, and components.
  • Explosive Materials: Researching and selecting appropriate explosives and propellants.
  • Fuzing: Designing and integrating fuzing systems to initiate the warhead at the correct time.
  • Safety and Arming: Ensuring the safety of warhead handling and preventing accidental detonation.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Conducting tests to evaluate warhead performance and reliability.
  • Simulation and Modeling: Using computer simulations to analyze warhead behavior.
  • Production Support: Providing technical guidance for warhead manufacturing.
  • Field Support: Assisting with warhead maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Artillery and Mortar Ammunition: Designing warheads for various calibers and applications.
  • Anti-Tank Warheads: Developing warheads for defeating armored targets.
  • Demolition Charges: Designing explosive charges for breaching and demolition operations.
  • Missile Warheads: Designing warheads for air-to-air, air-to-ground, and surface-to-air missiles.
  • Bomb Warheads: Developing warheads for various bomb types, including general-purpose, cluster, and precision-guided munitions.
