DKTE’s Textile & Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji enjoys a unique and prominent place amongst the Engineering colleges that are engaged in education, training, research and consultancy in various disciplines of engineering. DKTE has been founded with a humble beginning of diploma course in 1982. Presently our Institute has been catering to Three Diploma Courses Twelve Undergraduate courses, Five M.Tech Courses, MBA Program & Doctorate programs in Textile Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering. We have around 3850 students and 202 faculty members. We have established ourselves as one of the best Institutes for providing quality education. The Institute is equipped with excellent infrastructure in terms of spacious buildings, ultra-modern machinery and equipment in our laboratories, well equipped Library, highly qualified and experienced faculty and staff.

It is a moment of pride to share you that University Grants Commission, New Delhi and Shivaji University, Kolhapur have granted “Autonomous Status” to our institute from the year 2016-17, received A+ Accreditation from NAAC with CGPA of 3.53. UG programmes have been accredited by NBA, New Delhi, winner of ‘Best Industry-Linked Engineering Institute’ two times in 2015 & 2017 under Chemical & Allied Engineering Institute Category by AICTE and CII. DKTE has been ranked 33rd in the Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) 2020 and placed in “EXCELLENT” band in ARIIA 2021, by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
